About Richard Lowe, Managing Director
 Richard discovered the Personal Best Year Yet programme when it was part of a Strategic Change programme at UnumProvident in 2000. In the first year of his Best Year Yet plan, he accepted the challenges of the programme and set himself a number of work/life goals one of which was to get healthier and lose weight - in just nine months he lost an incredible 4 stones (25kg)!

Over the following 5 years Richard used the Personal Best Year Yet system to achieve a number of personal and work goals securing a promotion to Corporate Learning & Development Manager and winning a number of leadership awards along the way. During this time Richard also used the Team and Personal Best Year Yet system as a powerful enabler of strategic change. This contributed to delivering significant changes in the mind sets of the teams, in turn involved creating impressive breakthrough results which saw profits increase from £14.6 million to some £109.8 million over the last 5 years.
